PianoCafe is a mixed reality music learning game on Meta Quest. We value your privacy and are fully committed to protecting your data. PianoCafe is built with user respect and transparency in mind, and we comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other global privacy standards.

1. Data Collection

We do not collect or store any personal data from users.
PianoCafe is a single-player, offline experience. No sign-ups, no accounts, and no internet connection are required to play the game.

2. Permissions Used

We request only the permissions essential to the gameplay experience:

  • Camera & Passthrough: Used to enable mixed reality and help align the physical piano with the virtual game world (for calibration). No data is recorded or stored.

  • Hand Tracking: Used to detect your hand gestures and allow for spatial interactions like grabbing ingredients and flipping signs. This is processed locally on-device.

  • Microphone & Location: Not used.

We do not store or transmit any information from these systems.

3. Confidentiality Commitment

We do not collect any personal, behavioral, or analytics data.
There is no cloud sync, login, or tracking system in place. All gameplay occurs on your device and stays there. No information is transmitted to external services or third parties.

4. Data Protection and Rights

Because we do not collect data, there is nothing to store, share, or delete. You are in full control. PianoCafe does not track you, listen to you, or analyze your behavior.

5. Transmission of Data

No data is transmitted from the app. PianoCafe does not use any third-party SDKs that track or send data externally.
Everything remains local to your Quest device.

  • All permissions (camera for calibration, hand tracking for interaction) are used locally only and are essential to enable core gameplay.

  • The app is designed to run offline, without requiring any internet connection or login system.

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to store, lose, or misuse. Your experience stays private and secure on your device.
